Admission

Registration of an application does not guarantee admission. Application forms without marks will not be entertained. Cards are sent by post at the risk of applicants. Candidates are selected after being duly interviewed by the respective Departments. Receipt of an interview card does not guarantee admission. Candidates who fail to appear on the date mentioned for the interview will have their selection automatically cancelled. Interview will be granted only to card holders.

For UG

Application forms can be obtained from the college office on payment of Rs. 250/-
The serial number on the Application should be quoted for any referance. The Registration Slips/Cards must be kept in safe custody.
A self addressed post card should be enclosed along with application at the time of registration.

Interview cards are sent by post at the risk of applicants. Receipt of an interview card doesnot guarantee admission.
Admission is subject to confirmation after personal interview and the candidates who fail to appear on the date of the interview forfeit their admission. Interview will be conducted only for card holders.
While coming for the interview the candidate should bring the following certificates:
- The Selection intimation card.
- Statement of Marks/Grades in original
- Transfer Certificate in original
- Conduct certificate in original from the head of the Institution in which the candidate last studied.
- Community Certificate in original (BC/MBC/SC/ST)
- Medical Fitness Certificate
Candidates who passed examinations other than Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board, Central Board and All India Board should obtain Eligibility certificate from the University of Madras for admission.
Students seeking admission from other Universities or recognised body should and produce the following certificate within a month of admission a. Pass Certificate in original. b. A course certificate from the Head of the Institution, where the student last studied.
Admission is Subject to verification of Mark Certificate by the Director of Government Examinations and if the mark certificate is found to be bogus, admission is liable for cancellation, besides criminal action being taken.
Candidate are directed to take sufficient number of the attested copies of all certificates before joining the college. On no account the certificates will be given back after submissions to the office.
Candidates finally selected in the interview will be admitted on payment of the prescribed fees after which their names will be entered in the rolls of the college. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

For PG

Prospectus and Application forms for admission to the course may be obtained from the College office on payment of Rs. 350/-

Instructions

The following documents must be submitted in ORIGINAL at the time of interview failing which admission may be refused / denied.

The Interview Card.
MarkSheet.
Transfer Certificate.
Conduct Certificate.
Community Certificate.(Photo Copy)
Medical Fitness Certificate.

Students seeking admission from other Universities or recognised bodies should be produce the following documents:

Pass Certificate
Migration Certificate
Provisional eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.

Note

In case of a student discontinuing in the middle of the year he/she has to pay the full fee amount to be eligible to collect the transfer cartificate.
Curbing Ragging in Educational Institutions

Ragging is totally banned in the college premises and punishable according to the order of the government of Tamil Nadu. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authorities, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authorities would expel him from the institution.
