• Identity cards are issued to students and they have to keep them in safe custody throughout
  their course of study and have to bring it for both college and university Examinations.
• Students have to renew their ID cards at the commencement of II & III years.
• Loss of ID card will entail a fine of Rs.100/
• Damaged ID cards can be substituted only on surrender of the old ID card.

• Mid-Semester & Model Examinations are Compulsory.
• Monthly tests will be conducted regularly and report cards will be sent to the parents /
  guardians informing them about their ward's academic performance and regularity.
• Absentees for the examination / tests will be dealt with severely.

• 75% attendance is compulsory for appearing in practical and theory University Examination.
• The Principal shall condone the shortage of attendance upto a maximum limit of 10% of the
  total number of working days after which the attendance should be 65% provided, the
  Principal considers the reasons given for failure to keep the minimum attendance are satisfactory.
• Students who have attendance between 51% & 64%, will bepromoted to the next semester but
  will not be permitted to write the current semester examination and will be permitted to appearonly
  for the subsequent examination on payment of condonation fee.
• Students who have below 50% of attendance have to repeat the course / semester in which
  they lack attendance. But the management does not allow the repetition of the course/semester.
• Condonation fee according to the University rules, for practical and theory examination shall
  be collected from the students who lack the required attendance.
• Principal shall condone the shortage of attendance for a student only once for the entire course
  of study.
• The leave applications of the students must be signed by parent / guardian before submitting
  to the Heads of Department / Class Teachers.
• Students cannot leave the college campus without prior permission of the Principal.
• Students taking leave without prior permission or valid reason will be dealt with seriously.
• Absence of one hour in a session will be considered as being absent for half-a-day.
• Attendance will be given to students who participate in any programs / activities of the
  college including inter collegiate competitions only on submission of permission letters signed
  by the principal.

Students residing in the hostel should get prior permission from the authorities concerned
before leaving station.

• For Girls : Saree, Half-Saree, Chudidhar
• For Boys : Formal Dress.
• Casual mode of dressing have to be avoided.

• Avoid noisy and unruly behaviour in the college premises. Students are not allowed to organize
  or attend any meeting or collect money for any purpose without the prior permission of the Principal.
• Cellular Phones &ipods are totally banned in the college premises and the ban entails the
  confiscation of mobile phones even when not in use. Mode of other penal action will be decided
  by the college administration.
• Ragging is totally banned and is punishable as per the order of the Government of Tamilnadu.
• Smoking in the premises of the college, spitting, pasting posters and scribbling on the tables
  and walls are strictly prohibited.
• Those who come by two wheelers must have a valid license, wear a proper helmet and park
  the vehicles in an orderly manner.
• Avoid driving inside the campus especially during prayer and examinations.
• Every student is expected to behave with decorum, honesty and maintain decency.

• Students are requested to switch off fans and lights before leaving the class rooms.
• It is the duty of the students to maintain cleanliness inside the campus and also to ensure
  that materials, instruments, fixtures and other facilities used every day by them are kept in
  good condition.
• Maintenance fee is collected from all students.
• In case of breakage of apparatus / equipment in the laboratory, charges will be collected from
  the students. The decision of the Principal will be final.

Principal has full powers to impose fine, refuse certificate, suspend or expel a student from the college.

• The Library shall be kept open from 8.15 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
• Each student will be issued one library card.


• Each course will be allotted one day in a week for issue of books.
• A student can retain the book for a week exceeding which, a fine of
  Re. 1/- per day will be levied inclusive of holidays.


• Books will not be issued to students if they fail to pay the fine.
• Books should be returned in good condition. Any damage or loss of books is punishable and the
• cost of the book will be duly recovered.


• If a book is lost, the student should inform the librarian immediately.
• Students can refer books, magazines, dailies on all days.
• Reference books can be used only in the library.


• Silence has to be maintained inside the library.
